These very light statement earrings are composed of hand dyed red vintage lace and raw brass. They are inspired by the art direction of Baz Luhrmann’s cult 1996 movie Romeo + Juliette. Based in a post-modern California inspired setting, the movie draws on Mexican aesthetics and catholic symbolism specifically the sacred heart. A touch of personal nostalgia from a favorite movie.
