Lua Pele earrings
Lua Pele earrings
*NOTE* Due to vintage nature of metals, we re-edited this design with similar but different brass pendants. Note that you will receive the version shown in the first image showing the terracotta option and not the version shown on the models.
Of the Hawaiian word for volcanos, these earrings are inspired by the most humbling natural phenomena our planet provides. I have found in cultures that evolved in proximity to volcanos, communities tend to respect their environment the most as they are constantly reminded that things are ephemeral, life is fragile and this earth deserves our respect. These peoples should be an inspiration to all of us as we strive to protect our resources.
A careful balance between textile and metal, these statement earrings are composed of hand dyed flowing shaped vintage lace and vintage brass findings representing the structure of mountains. Available in a large variety of colours inspired by the natural world. Colors include beige, desert rose (dusty pink), magenta, coral, terracotta, mustard (ochre), black, white, navy, light blue, burgundy, violet, teal (dark turquoise), evergreen emerald and moss green.
Come on hypoallergenic gold plated 316L grade stainless steel posts, with butterfly backings. Gold-fill, sterling silver and clip-on earring options available here.
