Tiaré necklace

CA$86.00

Gardenia taitensis, also called Tahitian gardenia or tiaré flower (…) Native to the highland shores of the South Pacific, it has the distinction of being one of the few cultivated plants native to Polynesia. It is the national flower of French Polynesia and the Cook Islands. The flower is used to make Monoi Tiare Tahiti, a perfume-oil made by infusing the blossoms in coconut oil.” - Wikipedia

This bolo style necklace is inspired by the earrings of the same name. It is composed of hand dyed floral shaped lace, raw brass components, vintage brass chain and mother of pearl shell beads. Available in a large variety of colours inspired by the botanical world. Available in our full colour palette.

*** Due to vintage nature of chain, we are now using the box chain seen on the light blue necklace photo.

  • Slips over the head (no clasp) and adjusts with a slider bead.

  • Total length of snake chain 83 cm, hangs approximately 30 cm from neck, longest pendant measures 7 cm.

  • Care tips : Use iron on low or flat iron (hair) on petals to expand/reshape flowers. Spot clean white lace with stain removers such as '“Tide-to-go” or “Shout” wipes . Move slider bead slowly to preserve its function.

  • Handmade with love in our Montreal studio.

  • Limited edition due to the vintage and exotic sourcing of the materials.
